Some directing I've done.
This was a long musical couch gag done for The Simpsons.
We were asked to mimic some viral videos of school kids lip syncing .
The camera in the actual videos is handheld and
the shot is continuous as though someone is walking through the hallways witnessing all the performances. As the camera passes through the kids perform to it.
I think we were succesful coming up with an opening that looks like one long shot. This was a rare oppurtunity to have the Springfield natives actually play to camera, something they don't usually do.

Simpsons Madmen opening.

I did this while Directing retakes on the Simpsons.
The script called for a Madmen type opening. I didn't realize till later that they wanted a shot for shot version of the Madmen opening.
Needless to say it was something out of the ordinary for the show and was a lot of fun to Direct.

In an effort to keep up with the ever shortening life spans of viral videos I was given three days to produce this and ship it to Korea. I had it delivered to Fox in seven and it aired in twelve.....Phew.
